Usual service resumed after Tigers last week, with the performance of the season from the u12. A very high quality game from a well organised Roth side who were hugely physical and played a strong kicking game.
The lads won the key battles: the breakdown, the 50:50 moments, the kick chase, the scrum and the backfield kick return. On top of that, the speed to the ruck meant quick ball and our edge players got plenty of opportunity to use pace and footwork to stretch our opposition. Both forwards and backs were on top form in awful conditions.
The attitude in the physical battle was the icing on the cake, where the lads put in plenty of dominant shots, halting several huge charges close to our line. This made choosing player of the match incredibly tough.
Both Charlie and Alister were superb in the 9 role, ensuring speedy ball from set piece and ruck, George Carlin was exceptional today creating space and a huge shift in defence, Owen worked solidly at the breakdown and gained several turnovers, Ollie and Luther were superb going forward, with Noah and Isaac given plenty of opportunity, where they were constant threats. Tom, a debutant today, and Ellis kept our attack moving forward through graft at the ruck and digging in close to our line. An all round performance.

Everywhere today. Menace at the ruck, leading the linespeed, massive collisions and led from the front.

Best performance in a Dron shirt. Several carries, physical in attack, busy at the breakdown and good energy to keep ball flowing.
Henry
Today was a big kicking battle. Impressive in the back field, ensuring the opposition couldn't get a foothold in the game, led the attack playing first receiver and pressured everything. A brilliant all round performance.
