Sunday 12th November, Dronfield’s U12 girls team attended a Pitch Up and Play event at Sheffield RFC. These events are designed to allow clubs to mix together and get girls playing rugby. They played four matches during the morning before watching the girls Yorkshire U18 play Loughborough U18.

A fantastic morning, hopefully we’ll see some of our girls playing representative rugby in a few years time.

It must be said that of all the clubs attending the PUP, Dronfield were the only one to field a full side. A credit to all the hard work going on behind the scenes to get the girls team off the ground.
