Fantastic first game’s of the season for the U10’s a triple header with Matlock and Mellish. Our first game against Matlock was a tight game with Dronfield leading at half time but a great second half from Matlock resulting in a 5-7 loss Dronfield. The second game against Mellish was muddy try fest with Dronfield coming out victors 10-8. Some excellent skills shown by the team taking on all the new rules we have introduced this season. A superb start to the new season a big shout out to our debutants Jemima and Dylan, with Jemima our top scorer with 5 tries!
Great forward play from our pods with Frazer, Abel, Jemima and Charlie making some hard yards down the middle! A whole team effort in defense with some great tackling and winning the ball back from Edwin and Eddie! We also saw some superb running and try scoring from the wings from Will, Hirsty, Henry and Esme breaking down the wing to score the last try of the day!
