A crispy start to the day as the Under 10’s played their first game of 2024. The team came up against a really good Mosborough side. Dronfield playing with the returning Tom “wrecking ball” Robson and Oliver Hague making his debut. The team started really well making some superb tackles and attacking the opposition with some quick play. This first 15 mins was very tight with both teams well matched, during the 2nd 15 Dronfield started to pull away scoring freely and stopping the Mosborough team from breaking through. The final 3rd was again a great contest with both sides running in some scores. Congratulations to Edwin who scored his first try of the season pouncing on a loose ball before dotting down for a try!

As ever it was a fantastic watch for the spectators a game played with excellent spirit with a superb mix of attack play and tough tackling in defence!

Oliver - fantastic rugby debut for Oliver, you couldn’t tell it was his first game after only one training session! Super tackling especially towards the end, running back towards his own line and making some try saving tackles!
